Affordable All Filipino Dishes at Cusinas Restaurant, SM Center Angono

"Cusina" is one of the recently opened restaurants at SM Center Angono.

I was invited for a visit (and yes some chowtime) the restaurant as part of a Food Crawl event arranged by SM for Rizal bloggers and media friends.

Cusina offers Filipino dishes at really affordable prices.  The set-up like the ever familiar "cafeteria" with a more classy ambiance.

Wall deco ~ screaming Pinoy :P

"Kutsara at Tinidor"

Menu for Almusal, Merienda and Tanghalian/Hapunan varies, but the dessert is available all day long.

Average Merienda will cost you P50+, while a hefty serving (good for 2 pax) of Tanghalian/Hapunan will cost about P100+.

Our group got to taste the following:

Laing - P69

Beef Steak - P99

Adobong Pusit - P100

Soon to be launched dishes ~ (prices not yet available)

Kilawin
(I am not a fan of kilawin, but I know people who would actually enjoy this dish)

Grilled Tanigue

Baboyong
(Tastes a lot like bagoong, but not salty.  I actually liked it.)

Hamonado (This is very good, I would definitely order this one when I go back).

Rellenong Hipon
(They offered soy sauce dip, but I liked in more with catsup)

There are so many dish options to choose from. The ones we've tasted were really good and servings were generous for the price.

I would be back to try their dessert and merienda dishes.

If you are in the mood for decent priced Filipino food, come and visit Cusina.

Cusina is located 2nd Floor of SM Center Angono.

Big Daddy's opens at SM Angono: Restaurant Review

Big Daddy's is one of our go to fast food restaurants, whenever my boys are in the mood for specialty burgers.

We are frequent visitors of the Big Daddy's SM Taytay Branch
(Please check here our review of Big Daddy's at SM Taytay: MamaSpeaks meets Big Daddy) and I was happy to have been invited to one of their recently opened branches during a Food Crawl event with Rizal Bloggers and Media friends.

The Big Daddy SM Angono carries the same theming as its SM Taytay counterpart ~ rustic and  cozy.

Big Daddy's serves some seriously to die for burgers...

(Regular burgers are priced at P100+ and Signature ~ Home Run and Ultimate burgers at P200 and P225 respectively).

Their burgers are perfect with Nachos (P125) and French Fries Cheese Overload (P75).

Don't fret if you are not into burgers since Big Daddy's also serves pasta and rice meals.

Buffalo Wings (5pcs at P155 and 10pcs at P295)

Pasta Seafood Penne  (costs P125+) is my personal favorite.

Baby Back Ribs (P150) is tender and juicy.

Porkloin Steak (P155) equally delicious.

Have your fill of delectable burgers and steaks at really affordable prices. Visit Big Daddy's at SM Angono.

For additional information check out and like their facebook page at Big Daddy's Burgers and Wings SM Center Angono.

A Taste of Korea at Snow Panda SM Angono

The country has been taken by storm by all things Korean. There is K-pop, Samsung phones, 3D arts, Korean makeup.  Korean food was just around the corner.

Rizal Bloggers and Media Friends were taken to a Korean dessert overload in a recent Food Crawl event in SM Angono.

Sharing with you my personal take on Korean desserts and snacks at Snow Panda SM Angono.

Bing Su is the Korean version of our "halo-halo".
It is actually shaved ice with sweet toppings

~ a Large Snow Panda Bing Su costs P200 to P210, while Medium costs P130 to P140. The Large serving is good for 3-4 persons sharing.

I love Snow Panda's Bing Su. The consistency of flavor and fine quality of its shave ice was really-really good.

Pat Bing Su (red beans)
Watermelon Bing Su

Strawberry Bing Su (My personal favorite)
Injeolme Bing Su
(Korean rice cake and soya bean powder with almonds and cashew)
Mango Bing Su (with Almonds toppings). Most of companions grew a liking to the Mango Bing Su the most.

Choco Bing Su

We were also served:

Injeolme Toast (costs P140 to P160 for additional cheese or honey butter spread)

Mandu
(Korean Dumplings, costs P100 per order)

Kimbab (steamed white rice with various ingredients, rolled in a sheet of dried seaweed; costs is P100 per order)

Tukbokki (This dish is made of soft rice cake, fish cake, and the sweet red chili sauce, costs P100+.)

Snow Panda is thumb up for me (well, except for the Tukbokki, which was a bit too much for me, though I think my husband, who loves spicy food would have a blast with this dish).

Would love to go back to try their Smoothies and Yogurt.

Have a Taste of Korea, check out Snow Panda at SM Angono.
